This publication was produced as part of the Erasmus+ project Creative Digital Spaces, developed through collaboration between partners in Czechia, Italy, Slovenia, Spain, and Hungary, and published by Socialna akademija.

It synthesizes findings from a comprehensive survey conducted across the five partner countries into 11 principles for inclusive youth engagement, intended to be integrated into municipal strategies for youth work: inclusive engagement, shared vision and goals, effective and transparent communication, collaborative planning and decision-making, resource sharing and capacity building, continuous monitoring and evaluation, empowerment of youth voices, conflict resolution mechanisms, advocacy and outreach, sustainable engagement, and safe environment. For each principle, the report summarizes the survey’s concrete insights (e.g. the need for technology-driven inclusion, transparent and targeted communication, risk assessment and a small set of measurable indicators, public recognition of youth contributions, and clear protocols for conflict resolution and confidentiality).

The report concludes that these principles, grounded in real survey data rather than theory alone, can guide organizations, policymakers, and municipalities toward more inclusive, collaborative, and sustainable engagement of young people across diverse cultural contexts.
