| Detailed instructions | Set up: Attach the strings/cords with heavy tape to the marker, ensuring the strings pull in the intended direction. The marker can have up to 8 strings/cords attached to it. When participants pull their string, they will move the marker in their direction, leaving a mark on the paper below. Tip: Tape down your paper with masking tape so that it does not move while they are pulling the marker across it. Give each table/team a simple drawing to recreate to warm them up. Afterward, you can give them a more complex picture (it can also be pre-drawn on paper to make it easier). All team members should have their hands on a string and be no closer than 1 meter from the center. After they finish drawing, you can host a debriefing about how they collaborated to reach the goal. |
