| Aim of the method | Understand aspects of visual memory |
| Duration | 30 min |
| Participants number | Groups of min. 3 people |
| Materials | Paper and markers/pens |
| Detailed instructions | Ask people to draw individually from memory 6 to 9 well-known logos, flags, or other well-known graphics (10 – 15 min). Split them into groups based on proximity. Have people in groups compare their drawings and identify which is closer to the original. Compare with original images. Reflect on what kind of details we remember and what we donโt. Try to understand what essential details are. We can use it in contexts where we can link this activity to the main topic (like learning, visual memory, etc.) or use it to deepen our understanding of how to make visuals work best. |
