Perspective

First draw a shape. Then draw a straight line that will be your horizon. Draw a point on the line (vanishing point). Draw lines connecting the corners of your shape with the vanishing point. Now define the ends of the shape with vertical lines. When you are done, erase all unnecessary lines.

Used for: illustrating depth on a flat surface.
